Getting the impression that they are more concerned with the seller..which although it makes sense i expect even when they get cheated out of lots of money they probably still end up with a nice profit. What about the poor suckers who actually pay the money?

but they're hardly flying off the shelves if they've hvaing to convince sellers to reduce prices,are they?

agents want deals. volume not price is the key to making money. deals aren't made easier by raising the price.

Surprise, surprise the BBC are going for the if it wasn't for the bent EA Mr and Mrs Vendor would be getting even more for their house angle.

Can't believe I fell for it :lol:

Yep, now vendors will demand even more money - leading to a nice crash!

Are the BBC trying to set up Estate Agents as the fall guys for a HPC? It'll all be their fault for talking the prices down.
