They are pretty clueless, and probably a representative sample of people around the UK.

"IO mortgages are good for young people" -- what a clanger!

The scary thing is these people are easy prey for lenders' cunning tricks. That's why the government should regulate mortgage lending more.

How about this one:

As I see it, if RPI goes up 3% then salaries go up 3% then house prices go up 12% (four times salary so 4 times the amount people have to spend).

That thread just shows how Brainwashed the public is. The love for property is incredible.

The bubble may have a little more gas in it, but when sentiment finally does turn it will probably be the biggest crash in history.

I guess one day the public might think for themseleves. Maybe not.
