LONDON: State-run hospital, the University Hospital of North Staffordshire, announced it is cutting 1,000 jobs to prevent a 30-million-pound deficit next year. The NHS hospital has started a 90-day consultancy with its 6,500 staff over the issue.

15,000 jobs to go at Job Centres.

The VIs mantra: "But low unemployment and cheap loans are keeping HPI going" sounds more hollow as each day passes. The Economic Cycle cannot be beaten.

Who is going to look after all the ill patients then? How is the NHS going to meet it's ever ambitious perfomance targets?

Could outsourcing be the answer I wonder...

A people pipeline to China should do the trick. You get chuted off to China, have your medical treatment (at rock bottom prices) and whizzed all the way back. I'm sure the food would be better too.

Obviously there would be a weight limited (150kg) for the pipeline... There would also be the possibilty you could get stuck on the way. A build up of flatulent gases could pose an explosion hazard so a powerful air conditioning system would be required.

Yesss, I can see how the whole thing would pan out... I wonder if anyone has patented the idea yet.

P.S.

As the gas pipelines are running half empty at present, I wonder if we could use the remaining half capacity... ??

It would never work as we can only import in this country – you can fit at least 10 Chinese to 1 British person in that sort of pipe

I can see that they are going to have to borrow more money to pay for a new improved NHS again + some more inflated prices
