Chinese Year Of The Dog

Recommended Posts

So what can we expect from the upcoming year? The Dog is an ethical and idealistic sign, and the year that bears its name will also bring increased social awareness and interest in society's less powerful members. Any tendencies to take, take, take will be replaced by a widespread sentiment of generosity and selflessness. In general, we will all be imbued with the Dog's keen sense of right and wrong.

'the greatest peril is at the moment of victory' (Napoleon I).

Quite apt for me (I am actually a dog in chinese astrology), and my avatar (maybe this is why me and my dog are so close?)

So, will we start to turn away from greed? Will FTB's look for more alturistic pursuits?

Replying to myself, sad I know.

But, I could be on to something (for the 'believers'). Check out this link regarding previous 'dog years'. Its all wars and recessions. Coincidence?

Unlike the Dog years of 1934, 1958, 1970 and 1982, the year 1994 saw no economic recession - well, not in US anyway.

The year 2006 ( The year of the dog.) will in no way compare with 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994. Indeed they will be most pale, in fact even complaisant in comparison to the destruction and evil which is to come in 2006-2007. Hurricanes, droughts and earthquakes, locust, etc, are to be only a small peice of the pie. Germany is preparing to move once again to become the geopolitical driving force in Europe and indeed the Continent. Iran holds a Royal Flush in oil cards. The Oil Bourse which Iran is to open in March, 2006 will provide the fule ( The Euro ) to Strengthen Prestige of Europe, Iran, and other Arba Nations. At the same time the new OIl Bourse will be the major fule which destroys the American Dollar, Stock Market, Bond Market, The Housing Bubble is about to explode. We peoples of the United States will enter into the most terriable depression in history. Most likely in the later part of March, maybe as late as June 2006.

Yep, spooky! :o

I love being right!!!!...thing is america will win militarily, but it will lose the idealogical battle.

...communism was an experiment, what we are most likely to see is a hybrid of capitalism(for those that can afford it),crossed with stasi-style police state socialism for the rest.

all this as a result of hyperinflation(.....food riots, crime sprees, race riots etc will only serve to give the govenment a great big rubber stamp to allow MI5/police/local authorities to reprimand us for the most petty offences...all the time being told it's for our own "protection")

I think you'll find that the Chinese eat dogs - metaphorically and literally.

Keep up with the news Needle! The chinese are turning from eating dogs to keeping them as pampered pooches.
