HOUSE PRICES JUMP

Edited By Clinton Manning

HOUSE prices jumped by £77 A DAY last month as the property market kicked back into life. Mortgage lender Halifax said the 1.4 per cent jump was the biggest rise for six months. Average sales prices across the UK is now £173,498. Higher council tax and energy bills meant the cost of running a home rose by seven per cent last year.

Given the Mirror's popularity and its prominence in supermarkets along with knicker shots on the front page its no wonder the B o E and the average sheeple believe HPI is forever.

Do we need to stop this kind of deception and force the VIs to comply with standards in reporting that affects the entire economy?
