Bubbles

Recommended Posts

I sat through a lecture today... about bubbles.

The lecturer listed about 15 signs that we are in a bubble, and I reckon about 14 of them apply to UK houses at the minute... mmmmmm....

Saying that, we did a bit about Japan. It is safe to say that assuming there is any chance of us being in a bubble even slightly close to Japan's 15 years ago is a little misguided.

I wish I could predict the future...

Would you care to name them?

If you can't remember, which 'sign' did not show UK House Prices were not a bubble?

I'm re-reading it now.

Rapidly rising prices and high expectations for continuing rapidly rising prices are two currently debatable indicators. Arguably we have gone past these and therefore it wasn't a bubble and therefore will not necessarily pop.

But they could be indications that the bubble is about to burst?
