Leaving out the obvious{and often very funny} howlers that they have on there site,does any one know by how much, percentage wise ,they tend to over value properties .

They don't - the EAs do. You can see average percentage of asking price achieved on Hometrack. You used to be able to see a Regional summary of this but I've not been able to find it for ages - perhaps someone could enlighten us?

Since the VIs base their surveys on asking prices it appears that the "increases" reported by Halifax and Rightmove are nothing more than optimistic EAs starting the new year with a bang--or should I say "pop?"

They are having problems selling where I live! Their only option now is to scaremonger people into jumping onto the ladder "before its too late".

There has been a lot of PANIC-BUYING I see it all around me. Give it till MAY/JUNE and watch the EA's fall like flies!
