Retail Figures Down

Just as predicted, the BTL bandwagon is doing nothing for consumer expenditure. Missing FTB's are not spending on furniture, household goods, or anything much to do with housing.

One set of consumers is priced out, the other spent out.

I will keep saving until sense returns.



SPSL's RTI for February shows that the number of shoppers entering stores across the UK was down by 4.9 per cent year-on-year and down 11.2 per cent against an already depressed January; the lowest numbers since records began in 1998.
