Investors Still Prefer Shares Option

Looks like the ISA hype season is in full swing:

THE age-old problem of whether to put cash in shares or in bricks and mortar is still causing a headache for today's investors.

Most are still choosing to put their money into shares despite an upturn in confidence in the property market, according to new research published today.

Personal finance experts said the poor performance of housing in the 1980s and 1990s compared to shares was one reason why the latter remained a popular option.

Investors still prefer shares option
