Unfortunately it's not that simple. You need to factor in productivity gains as well. Wage increases are often more than offset by the increased output. BTW successful outsouced IT projects are more often than not run on "lean manufacturing" principles. So if you think that IT is anything other than a manufacturing process then think again. (Economist (MSc), IT Senior Manager, and Outsourcing Professional with an impressive cv in World Class Manufacturing. Or "Ignorant" to his friends).
