London Tonight Itv1 Monday 20th Feb (take 2)

Recommended Posts

Ok, after a few hiccups we're hosting the file courtesy of DTMark.

The file is 6.5 meg, so will take a little while to download.

Well done to Katie Derham and Alastair Stewart for relieving us from cloud cuckoo land for a brief moment of sanity.

Download London Tonight 6 Meg

If you feel the need to send any appropriate emails, here's the address

or call 0207 833 3000 and ask for the viewer liaison line.

The interview was preceded by some blurb on BTL, and followed by Kirsty blurb on HIP's.

I cropped these, the file simply became too big.

The resolution is only 160x120, trying to keep the file small.

I bought a cheap MPEG encoder for the job, if anyone wants details let me know.

There's going to be plenty of crash TV over the coming years.

[edit]

webmaster has managed to upload the file, here's another link

Kirstie looked very nervous, playing with her hair, didn't deny that interest rates would inevitably go up, didnt spin at all.

Is she well?

I take it that every man and his dog are looking at it at the moment as it won't connect....

*sighs and taps fingers impatiently*

I needed to save it before opening it, it wouldn't open just by clicking.

The last bull turns bear?

Wow Kirsty has seen the light. Property is too expensive and interest rates could go up.

What is sad is she has contributed through her greed and ignorance to encouraging others into a financial mess. I hope she is proud of herself.

Mr Joe.

She is indeed an instigator to this financial mess. As stated people are literally going to be screwed and she had nothing more to say than 'yes' before nervously giggling.

Thanks for taking the time to get this clip up on the site.

It's so nice to see Kirsty behave herself.

he he he he he LOL LOL :D:lol:

I think a relative or a close friend must have had a quiet word with her.

Will we get an apologie from her? For slagging of our site?

CAS

Edit: Just watched it again! I love the part when she is "Yup yap yap yap yapping" to the "people will be SCREWED point". He he he he he.

Will she want salt and pepper to go with her hat?

You bought a cheap mpeg encoder? Why didn't you use mencoder from the mplayer project or ffmpeg? Both are free.

But thanks for making the file available.

I thought the original reports on this were a joke - AS actually said "people are gonna be screwed"!

Where did this skepticism come from? Weren't they formerly bullish and joyous about HPI?

I suspect they realise that are large number of their viewers are frustrated first time buyers in London, and they have to represent them.

What happened to Kirsty's "just borrow money off your rich parents" attitude? She seemed quite humbled.... perhaps the realities of life are kicking in now that she's pregnant.

IMO she has seen reality is she is pregnant and she wants to move up the 'ladder'. She has realised the ladder is broken, and the amount people are paying on morgages is astronomical... Ohwell.... i wonder if she will continue to become bearish?
