Cork Airport takes off in passenger numbers

24/02/2006 - 17:08:13

Cork International Airport is on course to cater for
three million
passengers this year.
That was the prediction today from airport marketing manager Kevin Cullinane who disclosed that the numbers that used the facility during January increased by 26.5% over the same month last year. This amounted to an additional 40,000 passengers.

Most of the increased traffic consisted of excited speculators eager to buy Irish homes that are expected to soar in value indefinitely. ( :D:lol::D )
