Retail Anecdotal

Recommended Posts

Was chatting to someone this morning that I meet every now and then when walking the dog. We've never discussed economics before when almost out of the blue he started telling me that he owned a retail business (didn't ask what) and sold up a couple of years ago. He was saying how margins were getting so squeezed that there was no slack anymore - so much so he thought the economy was headed for the biggest cliff we've seen. Thinks some big name companies will go to the wall.

Just one mans thoughts but interesting none the less.
