Sentiment appears strong :( However given the nature of the over indebted readers of MSE this may not be very significant.

The mere fact that they even need to ask the question says it all.

The fact that the site is called "money saving" is all I need to know about which way that poll would go.

My landlord is kicking us out in a month because they want to sell for financial reasons and because it "seems like a good time".

I don't think they were making enough money off us! i Think I should forward them a link to money saving expert

The mere fact that they even need to ask the question says it all.

But the fact that the question: "How much do you think prices will fall?" is asked over and over again on this site doesn't "Say it all"? (to the bulls at least).

Result pretty much as expected really.

With pensions performing so poorly a lot of people see having some BTL's as a safer alternative. I think people must be looking at them as just a source of some guarenteed income, not simply an investment.

With this thinking being widespread then maybe only the introduction of taxes to make this less viable will be the only thing that can cause a significant reduction in house prices :(
