BuyingBear Posted February 22, 2006 Share Posted February 22, 2006 Hrm, they agreed up to 9% annual increases on a 5 year basis with the regulator Ofwat last year. The government knows the ONS juggle the figures, that's why they ignore the CPI when it comes to pay increases or settlements with regulated industries, public bodies like the BBC and almost everyone else apart from a few pensioners (RPI based).
