A Challenge From The Bbc

Recommended Posts

According to our favourite NuLabour spin machine, the BBC want your stories. I say we bombard them with HPC stories and see what their reaction is.

Have you taken a picture or filmed some video on your phone or digital camera that tells the story?

The photos from this thread should interest them then.

Can this be pinned?

or is that pined..

nope it is pined..

The BBC report yesterday I walked into the Canteen at work.. a Bull who new my bear status turned to me and said..

"House prices have gone up, right move have said.." and grinned.

I replied..

"Nope, they say prices have come down.. they are talking about asking prices.. they also say that people are taking 9% below those at point of sale.."

Well, they did say that last year...

Idiot.. I tried to keep going.. but I weakend when he countered with a "Prices won't drop" thing..

"A house in my parents street is on the market for £250,000 and has been for over a year, it has sold. An Identical house that doesent back onto countryside has just come onto the market for £290,000... Now does that mean that house prices in that street have risen £40,000 or have dropped from £250,000"

Of course those were not my exact words, But I think my point was wellish made..

I feel a poll coming on..
