'student Housing 'next Welsh Property Boom'

Recommended Posts

I find this an interesting read as, at first glance, it talks about a demand for student housing in Wales but when you go into the article it is actually talking, IMPO, about appartment blocks that have recently been marketed, IIRC, as luxury appartments but now being targeted at student accomodation.

Hang on, if I had paid an arm and a leg for my 'luxury' appartment the last thing I would want is for it to become, in effect, a halls of residents for noisey, drunken, partying students!? What does this say about the property market?

Perhaps I am reading the article wrong?

Nope, you're reading it right. Student accomodation these days is pretty good these days with all the competition.
