High Street Sales Fell At Sharpest Rate In More Than A Year.

High Street Sales Fall
High Street sales fell at their sharpest rate in more than a year.
Almost all sectors revealed lower sales on the month.
Sales volumes were 1.3% lower in January than the previous month, said the Office for National Statistics.
That was the biggest fall since December 2004 and much lower than analysts' forecasts for a fall of 0.2%

Not much comfort in this piece of news for House Prices going up anytime soon.
