Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
"The Scots need to listen more, not less, to Mr Brown's stringent economic lessons, and shake themselves loose from their age-old reliance on a public service economy, local authority dominance and government handouts" - Magnus Linklater in The Times today More Murdochian complete and utter nonsense! van hoogstraten
I think the term for this article is a "logical fallacy" & the author is relying on heavy irony .The second part is correct but by naming Crash Gordon as the source of any helpful advice in achieving a better economy the author is jesting with his readers. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
The article is entitled - 'A stranger in his own land - The Scots have never taken Gordon Brown to their hearts. For their own sakes, they should try' Enough said! Edited February 15, 2006 by gruffydd
