You know that is denial when HPC is mentioned, only as a figure of history. That was the story in the Daily Mail this morning. Apparently people have finally realised there will be no HPC. Well I did look and couldn't find it, but I found some good news on the house price front, suggesting positive (or is that negative? I can't tell these days) movements..

And if you walk in a building you need to pay council tax for it. Or if you keep fish you need a dog licence. Or if you ride a pushbike you must have car insurance. Really the licence fee is just a tax.
