The Dark Side Of Property Developing

Heater theory over men's deaths

Police are looking into the possibility the death of three men was caused by fumes from a patio heater they used to keep warm as they slept.

A man aged 19, another in his twenties and a third man in his thirties were discovered in their beds in a house in Longford, Coventry, on Sunday evening.

Officers say the men were staying at the house in Basford Brook Drive to carry out renovation work.

Two of the men were brothers, the third was a friend.

The deaths are not being treated as suspicious. The coroner has been informed.

Apparently they had recently bought the property and started work just a week ago, the house was off the gas supply so they used a patio heater in doors!

There doesn't seem to be such romance in being a developer.

The amount of Carbon Monoxide those things give out is ridiculous.

They would have been dead within a matter of an hour or so.
