Not Neil at his best, overall a bit of an easy ride for Sunak

He could have given him a harder time but he raised the right topics IMO ...

-inflation

- Covid loans

-pensions

-government spending

- the cost of green energy

-foreign aid

-potential rate increases

- fiscal conservatism

Sunak is very slick and has a platitude for every question!

HPI? Shouldn't he ask about that and how it is blighting most people's lives other than the wealthy.?

Well that was a waste of everybody's time.

A man with Shredded Wheat on his head asking the millionaire heir to outsourcing billions (or hundreds of thousands of old British jobs now relocated to India) a bunch of unanswered questions.

I love the way the furlough scheme is seen more and more as holding the country back because people cant be arsed to work any more lol

And yet people still want a UBI as everyone will become entrepreneurs and artists etc with it.. rather than conquer Netflix and tipping point ala furlough.

He sounds like a Labour chancellor. I don't see the budget being balanced any time soon. Interest rates will remain low to keep borrowing low for the oversized, juggernaught state. The public will pays with higher living costs.

He doesn't.

Every Tory chancellor since 2010 has been woeful for me.

Anyone who still thinks ours is the party of economic competence wants their heads read. :(

Voting Labour for the first time in my life if I'm still here come 2025. This lot need clearing out for the greater good long term.
