good old rishi's cover has been blown when he delivered the last budget.the amount of times I heard the soundbite "progressive and fair" bandied about should ring alarm bells, they were also constantly used by nick clegg, supposedly liberal democrat but ended up in the woke gang joining facebook.

No. they were 'socialists' in name only, simply because of the popularity of left wing groups at the time. They high jacked the 'socialist' moniker to draw people in.

Like Blair and Brown and Mandelson.

For what it's worth, Corbyn voted against the 6 month extension to the emergency covid powers and many see him as a figure head of left wing politics in the UK.

I know its easy to fall into the trap of comparing people you don't like to Nazis, but it isn't very big or clever.

Nothing to do with the point made, not sure why you posted this

The Nazi Party was NEVER Left wing, it had it in the name just like North Korea or The People’s Republic Of China or East Germany.  Very basic.

If Corbyn had support Brexit and ending the immigration then he'd have won by a landslide.

It's curious that he didn't given everyone says he's a leave voter

Certainly, if Corbyn had stood as a Euro-sceptic lefty he would have done better. Apart from anything else, he is a Euro-sceptic lefty...

Indeed. I actually genuinely don't know how he'd go down with Northern voters. Having said that I thought the same about Boris.

I don’t think he was very Media savy, but too much ideology.  Not helped by appearing to be a bit anti Semitic.  Interesting that the media manages to bury these individuals and make them unelectable.

Corbyn did OK in 2017, but Labour was pro-Brexit then. But I don't want this thread to get Brexit-y - it's worse than bitcoin :)

Salt of the earth is Boris, this was the clever image he has projected

True, the vaccine would have been slower for Scots outside the UK/as aper of the EU.  But thats just one example, how may others are there of one disaster after another.  BJ and friends would need to be pulling some more good news out of the hat pronto or the Scots will be off on their bonny way.

Way to what? Can`t see it happening TBH and I mean where would Scotland have been financially as an independent state?

I think you’re being very kind to the public, and ignoring the Manifesto the R’s hole’s Party was democratically elected on (specifically no reduction of the Armed Forces - yet another lie!).

The public care most about immigration.

Man alive, are they going to be disappointed.

Remind me how the Tories are the part of 'Traditional Values'?

I think they are.

Look after the "traditional" institutions  - landowners, financiers, elites, and those with lots of money are a big part of that. Kick debt and servitude down to the proles. Laugh our balls off at how stupid proles are (did I just see someone trying to argue the Nazis were really lefties???!!!) Rinse. Repeat.
