This is the excuse they need to extend the stamp duty holiday.

Probably correct unfortunately

I figure that people selling and buying want other people in their house because they want to move, so they are probably happy. Its the renters who should be annoyed, but they can say get stuffed anyway.

Depends on how much force is required to keep the lid on the infections

Comment on that website from a slightly earlier thread:

Top 4 essential reasons to leave your home in lockdown:-

1) Your house is on fire

2) Medical emergency

3) To buy provisions to keep you and your family alive

4) To view a property you most likely won’t buy

5) Go to the dnetist if you've got a dodgy tooth like I have...

Yes, we need an immediate and fully funded commission guarantee scheme for hard-pressed estate agents.

prices must rise or no one will be inclined to buy.

The heart needs blood to work to pump blood to the lungs to be re oxygenated for use.

EA`s are the pumping heart sending the plebs (blood) to the banks (lungs) to be re oxygenated.

less lung usage needed if the rest of the body is working well, not so hard to breath ;)

So that's it I guess 10% increase in HP in 2021 due to pent up demand after EAs are locked down and the extension of SD as the market can't really be locked down and then SD removed in March.

Even during the last lockdown sales that were happening were allowed to complete, if moving home is banned completely can you imagine the legal nightmare re contracts!

Oh joy!

P.S. love the comments

This one has got to be a wind up or someone from on here:

On a separate note, I think it’s about time some credit was given to Agents, who are playing a part in keeping the economy ticking over, in a pretty dire economic situation.

If not a wind up, that's as delusional/daft as any comment I've seen.
