Yeah so Michael Burry (The Big Short guy) has been into water for a while. https://investormint.com/investing/michael-burry-water

It might be time to realise that we’re heading for escalating global climate events even as human population climbs beyond 8 billion.

And everyone needs fresh water.

So rather than looking at how 7/8ths of the worlds surface is apparently water and looking at desalinization, you post a programmable libtard thread about putting water on the stock market.

I actually know one of the people behind the contract at veles water.

As a hedge its not great and I'm not sure it will get liquidity.

For those interested Brent futures work as while it's based on the oil spec from one site (Brent field in the North Sea) and delivered to a fictional warehouse in Aberdeen. Oil itself is easily transportable and once you know the spec you can adjust for the physical position you are hedging against.. As in more sulphur etc etc.

With this water contract it's based off a small area of california. Water itself in terms of price is very local. You can have a droubt on one side of a valley but not the other. It's also not shipped in tankers but just transported very locally. So your market doesn't really work...

In basic terms, a Brent future is a good hedge for an airline as you can tie the contract to your cost. For a farmer this water contract is less good as it is based on something that could bare no resemblence price wise to your actual cost.

:D You’re such an unhappy person.

It’s ok, if it makes you feel better you can call a random anon names. There there *pat pat*

Don't worry - they still sore about Trump and lashing out.  You need to give them a 'safe space' so they can have a good cry.  The use of 'libtard' is just their preferred pronoun
