naturals
Just rented a new flat. RM listing states heating and hot water included, however now that we've moved in I'm convinced that the hot water runs through our meter so we're paying for it. I can already see the EA saying "really sorry we were mistaken but nothing we can do about it". Where do we stand legally? Can we claim on their insurance for incorrect information? I wouldn't mind so much but the hot water cylinder is complete garbage (the lagging on half of it has fallen off entirely) so we're looking at about £100 a month extra on our electricity bill. lastlaugh
Do you have a copy of the Rightmove listing? What does your contract say? I suspect your best course of action is through the Property Ombudsman, bu5 you will need to make a formal complaint to the EA first.
