Greatest recession ever, with house prices at mental levels and "investors" are going to turn to property and the city am wampers are exclusively telling us.

I think they should fill their boots. Fewer competitors with money or the will to buy when the 'inevitable' crash arrives will only help my position.

I put inevitable in inverted commas because I've been saying it for 17 years. Difficult being on the wrong side of government policies for that long not to feel a tad unsure. Only on the wrong side of the policies though, I will never buy anything that is overpriced and so not buying (strange to say) wasn't the wrong decision.

Indeed

"This is important – any attempt to stimulate investment and economic growth will be boosted by a vibrant property market. As such, it is vital for the government to implement policies that sustain this interest over the long-term.” said Jamie Johnson, chief executive of FJP Investment. "

Sort of works, if you brim a tank full of fuel there's not enough oxygen for the fire.
