Is this going to lead to a holy war

Before you know it there is going to be lots of French Muslims entering showers in special camps in Poland.

How do you say "Work will set you Free" in French?

The trouble with western civilization is that multiculturalism only rubs along happily as long as everyone is (more or less) a bad example of their religion (ie not particularly enthusiastic ).

Once everyone gets enthusiastic, exterminating each other becomes only too glorious for everyone.

liberals just make extremism worse by this kow towing to it.

So no, it won't be holy war. Because their religion may say unbeliever this, jihad  that, but most muslims just aren't that enthusiastic.  And we won't sanction their murder for apostasy or our own for disbelief.

So the holy warriors are out of luck.

Instead the reasonable muslim will roll his eyes and see the middle ground getting eroded yet again.

That's just my personal view.

Or realise this is just Erdogan trying to distract from the total mess Turkey is in right now..

Unemployment 30%, collapsing currency, inflation hitting 20%... but look over there EVIL ANTI ISLAM CARTOONS!

Most can see through it.

Wait till Feb 2021, post Brexit and watch the few hundred poor people on dingys rise up again in the press as "a major issue". Same crap.

Spot on. The general trend is for the erosion of religious enthusiasm. Atrocities aside fewer people attend religious gatherings now than they did 20 or 5 years ago.

The middle path is the golden one.

I guess you are being sarcastic? Muslims are only 0.02% of the population in Poland. At least according to the following:  https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/muslim-population-by-country

In France it's 8.8% where there are also gun battles between Chechens and Arabs.

The dear old poles seem to be vying with the Hungarians for most religious christian country.

Won't be going there on holiday...

I have been to many countries and you can never trust the media, you will find good and bad everywhere, most people are good or you would never have civilisations

For Turkey that’s a normal economy.
