Chunketh
Politics aside, he must be gutted. If the pandemic hadn't happened, the strength of his result shows that he probably would have won under normal circumstances. Probably should have tried harder to manage it then! pig
Trump has nothing to lose by complaining about fraud early and often. If he wins, he'll say he won despite the fraud. If he loses, but there is a widespread perception that he lost as a result of fraud, there are various ways this could help him: 1) Save face 2) Retain popularity with his base to stay relevant and cash in after leaving office 3) Motivate terrorist attacks on vote counting 4) Challenge vote at the Supreme Court 5) Flip some electors Except for the timing - which seems to undermine the claim I get a lot of his 'base' are somewhat divorced from reality ,insulated from being informed if you will, and it may galvanise them. But not all. Surely its got to alienate a certain proportion of his support and tend undermine any claim at the Supreme Court as vexatious.

But not all. Surely its got to alienate a certain proportion of his support and tend undermine any claim at the Supreme Court as vexatious. It's the Trump clan that are doing all the hand-waving. You may notice that many Republican politicians are being pretty circumspect about all of this and keeping their distance.
pig
A Biden win would be another nail in BJ's coffin, bring it on . 264 to 214 at 11.14pm UK time. Its all fireworks from here on in.

Tangible, material, immediate, traceable effects.
Orb
I've gotta say, it's highly amusing watching Trump fire off lawsuits each time one of these final few states go blue lol. A man who despises losing above all else is actually losing while the whole world watches. Edited November 4, 2020 by Orb

miguel
No class, as they say. All things considering I think Trump did pretty well. Going into the last week I think the momentum was with him. Harris to meet Trump in the whitehouse could be interesting!
Chunketh
More from PA, times are GMT 11:00 - (Before mail in count started, they were unable to start counting earlier because the Republicans blocked it) Trump 2,969,504 Biden 2,350,664 Difference 618,840 Count - 75% 19:15 - Trump 3,063,634 (+94,130 on 11:00) Biden 2,599,924 (+249,260 on 11:00) Difference 463,710 Count - 80% 21:00 - Trump 3,101,645 (+38,011 on 19:15) Biden 2,751,960 (+152,036 on 19:15) Difference 349,685 Count - 83% 23:20 Trump 3,143,021 (+41,376 on 21:00) Biden 2,866,042 (+114,082 on 21:00) Difference 276,979 Count - 85% At this rate Biden will pass him before the count reaches 93%, or maybe sometime late afternoon tomorrow barring any legal shenanigans. ZeroSumGame
Donald Trump seems to be objecting to his legal team’s strategy for challenging his losses in Wisconsin and Michigan by demanding access to vote-counting sites. Interesting.

Social Justice League
lol at Trump. The end is already here but he fights on..............until the weekend. It's been a very entertaining four years though and i've got to say this, I'll miss him in a warped, sick way. He was pure comedy and I know Biden will be boring and tedious in comparison. msi
Why don't all the Trump fans here start a gofundme for his legal challenges? Even Republican senators are making distance now...
ZeroSumGame
Biden now 264.! AZ will deliver the win. Depends which route out of the maze your broadcaster is following. I've AZ already chalked in, but Nevada is the one going to take Biden across the line. 6 EC votes to be had. 0.6% according to my feed, but all the votes are now blue from turning pink just recently. Riedquat
4.3 according to the beeb but its fallen from 11.5 this morning. I thought it looked too big a gap to make up but I'm rather less certain of that now, at the rate it's going it would be more a surprise if it didn't change.
