you have described a left winger perfectly.

efforts of the CBs.... lower IRs and print money. the tools which no longer work. end game when IRs go negative.....

bond market dead

housing market out of reach of most first time buyers

baby boomers policies stole the future of next generations by reducing their living standards

Since the early 80s almost all money has been created outside of the banking system in the form of credit derivatives. $USD quadrillions of them.

Both Denmark and Switzerland have dabbled with negative IRs without ill effect, but negative IR's squeeze the spread that commercial lenders are able to put on their loans. No good long-term for a country with an over-developed financial sector.

The bond market is dead because the prospect of inflation is extremely low everywhere.

Selfish baby boomers have indeed stolen the future from their kids and grand-kids. They should be ashamed of themselves!

left wingers main defensive is insults known fact.

Yeah, there's a lot of that, but the simple them and us extremes at either side are pretty identical in that regard. The more mainstream left seems pretty intolerant and bigoted these days but on the issue of this thread they're still rather above Trump and his cronies (even though the one positive thing I can say about Trump is that I generally have a pretty dim view of the people who get most worked up about him).

I created the account around the time of brexit vote (voted out), and have not posted since. The forum seems to be baby boomer run looking at the comments.

I am millennial who is now p*****d off with baby boomers policies and rigged system which has slowly destroyed capitalism with their greed. As a result, we are heading towards some form of dictorship and communism, did the younger generations vote for this? No, at least trump believed in capitalism. Joe Biden is the hot ticket to the final destination.

why does twitter, YouTube etc remove videos about UN 2030 agenda/global reset or other views on COVID? even pro-trump videos?

it's about control and reducing freedom of speech. They don't want people hearing the other side of the story - balanced.

if you are happy with that, you are mad.

It was all fun and games when they were banning Trump. But Twitter and Facebook being banned in Uganda for their left wing propaganda is wrong because 'freedom of speech!'

All Trump believes in is whatever he can make use of to further his own ends. If that involves screwing over everyone else he couldn't give a damn.

Biden's hardly a communist.

“The goal of socialism is communism.

Socialism inevitably leads to communism."

We are going through the process now, baby boomers don't care because they have their assets and will be pushing up daisies when fully implemented.

No point in arguing with folks (and we know it's the same set, different nicks).  As far as they are concerned, if you're not following their batsh*t crazy theories you must be CoMmUnIsT and part of the kiddy fiddling 6ft Lizard crew.

Back to the comedy.

Trump believes in Trump nothing more.

As a capitalist he was/is a complete failure. Bailed out several times by his father, 4 or 5 bankruptcies  then after the 2007 financial crisis saved by the huge dose of corporate socialism that followed.

If he had just stuck daddies money in a wall street tracker fund he would be far richer than he is today, hardly the mark of a capable businessman.

Parroted directly from that imbecile Donny Jr.

If you cannot see the difference between a state banning twitter, facebook and actual political rallies and an individual rogue president tweeting blatant falsehoods that caused a riot then you really are as stupid as he is.

If you want to make a valid point, talk about Parley. THAT is where the story is here.

No it doesn't. That is as daft as saying conservatism leads to fascism.

You said he believed in capitalism, he doesn't. Well not unless you count crony capitalism where the dice are loaded in favour and you keep profits while socialising losses.

'According to the reports, the Uganda government on Tuesday through the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) has ordered internet service providers to block access to social media applications and websites. It was reported that Twitter and Facebook were trying to interfere in the elections by blocking certain pro-government voices.'

https://www.opindia.com/2021/01/uganda-bans-twitter-and-facebook-over-election-interference-allegations/

The source is fairly biased, true. But it has a ring of truth to it. Twitter, Facebook and the rest of the left wing extremeists have been banning people with opinions they disagree with. Including the President of the United States. So shutting them down during an election seems like a very reasonable course of action. Hopefully it will become standard practice.

The best thing about this, though, is the wailing left. After banning people and words and destroying careers in a neo-McCarthyism they suddenly get all outraged about freedom of speech. It's comedy gold.
