Perhaps it’s time for UK Trump fans to move to his homeland. Have you thought about trying for a job there? From the sounds of your descriptions it’s really turned into a golden land since he took over.

I’d like to hear about the cheap housing and plentiful, well-paid work.
Hands up who is thinking about it?

maybe we should organise house swaps with the progresives/democrats in the US then.

for the us perspective it would mean getting back to more constutional smaller government

from the uk perspective they can have a progressive government tied to the eu,sorts out the brexit problem(no longer happening) and keeps the scots on board,no more independene furore.

Big fan - imagine the state of things if Hillary had got in!

Wars?  Yes

Mass immigration as a result to Europe: Yes

War and pizza. Also more likely to have had law HR 6666 were family members can be removed from their homes, maybe sent to FEMA camps.

Maybe more Satanic statues put up too?

Obviously that's not a "conspiracy" I haven't hacked those big news sites and put phony stories on them!

President Trumphas banned any training within the federal government related to critical race theory, calling it “anti-American propaganda.

Excellent.

A nation divided cannot stand.

I'm not sure if you are celebrating the likely fall of the US in it's current divided state or suggesting that ignoring the current reasons for that division will save it?

3 liberals walked into a bar and told a black man what he would be drinking.

Educating a school of thought meant to emphasize the effects of race on one's social standing, is not actually doing anything about racism. Interestingly, black people don't all have the same views.

Not really a fan of him personally, but I can appreciate why he might be the President and think his opposition shot themselves in the foot letting him in but seeing him this way totally throws his detractors in conversation.

From what I remember about his hometown of NYC, everywhere claims shamelessly they have the best cheesecake, cocktails, coffee, hotdogs or whatever so by that city's standards his brash manner isnt anything unusual!

********. We've had a very, very slow fire season here this year. Probably in part because so many people are staying home and not going out accidentally starting fires in the wilderness.

The only smoke we've had around here this year has come from the US fires.

Back on topic, his first term has been the best President in decades. If he keeps it up, his second term will legitimately make him the best President ever.

I'm stocking up on popcorn for the October Surprises.

A three trillion dollar annual deficit and a quarter of a million dead from Covid-19 makes Trump the Best President Ever?

Full speed ahead and damn the torpedos!

Possibly, possibly. I have no doubt that foreign powers (the usual suspects) are provoking and providing for a lot of these right-wing militias that are popping up around the US, and the Koch family make no bones about the fact they have supported a lot of the Republican groups that have political objectives that would be considered extreme in this country. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find that left-wing groups/people have been working on their own agendas, providing funds for others to do so.

Today's on line platforms providing near-instant news to a widespread audience has probably highlighted the perceived injustices seen in the US. Just imagine if the Breonna Taylor shooting had happened in this country... what do you imagine the reaction would have been if the judge had basically announced, prior to the decision on bringing charges, that the law allows the police to shoot and kill innocent home-owners in their beds?

Unfortunately the two sides seem to be hardening their respective stances against the other, I would argue that Trump has fed into this though, escalating the protests and violence. I see a bleak future for that country....

I see you've put foreign influence and an American family in the same paragraph.

The only ones I know of are "Proud boys" and "3%ers". Don't know much about those, but the Proud Boys tricked the far Left Fascist Militia called "Antifa" into thinking Proud Boys where having a demo, for Antifa to turn up on their own and end up attacking each other, women and the press....

Yes, it is a bit strange when $4.7 in donations came from untraceable 'unemployed' donors.

So what you are saying is the unfortunate shooting of Breonna was basically the police busted in and shot her while she was in bed. Her boyfriend didn't fire the first shot at the police, wasn't wanted for narcotics and they didn't have a search warrant.

Oh...and this was Trump's fault? and when this kind of thing happened under Obama....this was also Trumps fault too?

The guy presenting the above video about Antifa used to be a liberal.

If you think Trump is somehow feeding into and escalating the riots you are deluded. He cannot send in the National Guard unless a governor / mayor requests it. He has held the offer open if needed while Democrat run cities have consistently not asked for help and let their areas get looted, burnt and violence and abuse against persons continue. Sometimes the mayors get their own businesses / dwelling attacked fire bombed by the rioters, such as Ted Wheeler's apartment, where children also live.

Do you know this stuff already but are just so embroiled in TDS you don't care? or are you just genuinely lazy and don't care to learn anything while getting all your information from watching somewhere like CNN?

If the election is fair Trump will win by a Landslide. The Helmut Norputh Primary model is 91% Trump win. Unfortunately Democrat vote fraud is rampant.

The convenient democrat line is "Trump is a vote suppressor"  despite Obama removing thousands of mail boxes, and Obama installed judges wanting to remove the post mark requirement on mail ballots, among other things.

Excellent.

A nation divided cannot stand.

Critical Race Theory is a toxic, authoritarian and totalitarian ideology.

Here's a cut-and-paste that I have stolen.

I applaud Trump for standing up to it. Why won't the British PM do the same?

Critical Race Theory…

  • believes racism is present in every aspect of life, every relationship, and every interaction and therefore has its advocates look for it everywhere
  • relies upon “interest convergence” (white people only give black people opportunities and freedoms when it is also in their own interests) and therefore doesn’t trust any attempt to make racism better
  • is against free societies and wants to dismantle them and replace them with something its advocates control
  • only treats race issues as “socially constructed groups,” so there are no individuals in Critical Race Theory
  • believes science, reason, and evidence are a “white” way of knowing and that storytelling and lived experience is a “black” alternative, which hurts everyone, especially black people
  • rejects all potential alternatives, like colorblindness, as forms of racism, making itself the only allowable game in town (which is totalitarian)
  • acts like anyone who disagrees with it must do so for racist and white supremacist reasons, even if those people are black (which is also totalitarian)
  • cannot be satisfied, so it becomes a kind of activist black hole that threatens to destroy everything it is introduced into

Sorry for getting the wrong end of the stick on your previous post and including you in my "3 liberals walked into a bar and told a black man what he would be drinking."

Interesting bullet points on Critical Race Theory. Wonder what they would make of a child with black and white parents? Combining benefits of different genes, the whole purpose of sexual reproduction. Usually very good looking. I had a friend like that, girls could not get enough of him.

Which is why the Kremlin helped him into office.

You believe anything you are told. You probably not heard of Kevin Clinesmith either.

LOL. Stop listening to the Fake News, dude.

Last I heard, the CDC said a whole 9,000-odd people had died from Chinese Flu. And the deficit is determined by Congress, not the President.

But, hey, Orange Man Bad. I know.

It's 200,000 Covid dead, chump. So far.

More than the US war dead from 5 wars combined.

And your lying about the deficit too.

But, of course! When are you Breitbartian sewer-dwellers not lying??

The Combover Crybaby's teeny, tiny fingers are all over the CARES Act:

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act,[1] also known as the CARES Act,[2]

... a $2.2 trillion economic stimulus bill passed by the 116th U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Donald Trump on March 27, 2020 in response to the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.[3][4] The spending primarily includes $300 billion in one-time cash payments to individual Americans, $260 billion in increased unemployment benefits, the creation of the Paycheck Protection Program that provides forgivable loans to small businesses with an initial $350 billion in funding (later increased to $669 billion by subsequent legislation), $500 billion in aid for large corporations, and $339.8 billion to state and local governments.[5]

The original CARES Act proposal included $500 billion in direct payments to Americans, $208 billion in loans to major industry, and $300 billion in Small Business Administration loans.[6][7] As a result of bipartisan negotiations, the bill grew to $2 trillion in the version unanimously passed by the Senate on March 25, 2020.[8][9] The next day, it was passed in the House via voice vote and signed into law by President Donald Trump on March 27.
