Optimistic homeowners overestimating the value of their home by a fifth

Recommended Posts

EAs know the game is up and are over inflating to make subsequent discounts look good.

Only problem is the internet.  Prices will be based on past sold and not the fantasies of sellers.

We only need one panicking seller in an area to set the new benchmark

Only 20% over? I thought they were more like 150-200% overvalued?

They are definitely nowhere near double digit percentages away from their 'value', whatever the exact number turns out to be.
