Article: Everyone is leaving London

Recommended Posts

Most people who live in London aren't actually in central London. I see little evidence that people are trying move away from Islington, Barnes, Harrow or Clapham.  This "may" change the longer Covid is seen as a major threat. What is currently happening is that people are making fewer journeys into the centre. Businesses in places like Canary Wharf, Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Earls Court etc are taking the brunt of this. But that is not "most people leaving London". Yet. And what the article is really saying - that the demand to BUY property in London - has been affected.
