£2,500 per head subsidy by england is a big stumbling block?

The reality would be that Scots WOULD be slightly worse off, but that the money now allocated to project the UK's "hard power" could be spent to improve the lives of Scots, rather than destroy the lives of foreigners.

Scotland has a lot of 'soft power' across the globe. The Scots and Irish (Sc-irish) are well respected, and represented, across the globe. Spending money to promote that 'brand' should greatly increase exports etc. Not that they are too bad at the moment of course...
