Those are very small apartments.

Probably COVID traps.

Could be a fire sale.

Domestic buyers can't afford them so they're trying special offers to middle Eastern buyers instead.

Especially when you can get an ~1100 sq ft house near East Putney for 800k ish.

You could get a lot more in very many different places.....with lower ongoing service fees, maintenance, quality of life and taxes.....as they say shop around.;)

£850k for a box, four walls a floor and a ceiling....with boxes above and boxes below.;)

That's over $1 million

Think of the kind of house you could get in America for that .  Probably something obscenely large.

Nothing to see here! This is all normal of course! :P

Don't forget the service charge.

East putney is okay. But you can get a reasonable two bed flat there for 500k.

Uplift to 850k is based on.. What its corvid time?

II's a load of nonsense...

Even in the UK, commutable to Leeds and Manchester, you can get a manor house with extensive grounds and a stable block. That's nuts.

Doesn't this buy two for a discount simply confirm that reality has sank in with these delusional idiots and now it's time to panic?

They need to get rid quick and they know it.

But yes who in their right mind would pay (or have paid) that? Genuinely? Only overseas nutters Shirley?

Why America?......property is cheaper there but the cost in taxes to keep it are high, at the moment not a place because of the high wealth inequality and other reasons many would not aspire to live......can think of other places better in the UK or in other countries not far away that would buy a good quality of life a magnificent place, land, space and views with plenty spare left over.;)
