What happened with the investment flat where the desperate lady was offering a big check to anyone able to sell it ?

Remember that story? Is the listing still up? I would laugh so hard if it is still up for sale

Stumbled on this one looking through Zoopla for large reductions.

Why?

Do you really have nothing better to do???

It is as pointless  as looking at properties that have gone up massively in value.

that 2014 buyer made a mint thanks to HTB

HTB was not available on a second hand home that he sold.

The market in 2014 was coming out of a downturn he bought at a time that enabled him  to make money - or did he ? If he has bought another house that has also gone up so it makes little difference.

Those pictures of the interior and view to rear and fire escape "balcony' are just depressing. A place to die? If you weren't half dead already you will soon be feeling like you are.

Don't care if its 1350k, 1000k or even 100k, it's still nasty.

The front of the building is nice so maybe a listing that should only have one photo.

HTB affected ALL HPs.

If you like being enclosed by persistent heavy traffic, yeah.

I like the proximity to pubs, clubs, bowling alleys, theatres, restaurants nightclubs, lets not talk about coronovirus as that could change the environment.
