Don't trust deep-learning algos to touch up medical scans

I thought this was only ever envisaged as an "assist" rather than as a definitive diagnosis.

Or at least that until long term confidence could be established.

I don't see that there will be instantaeous substitution of AI for humans in many areas. What there will be is long term transitions where AI/human argumented technology is in place.
