£1 profit after fees and post no point.

Unless you selling bulk and then you are only saving on postage. Over 2 coins and you are not covered for loss anymore as it's over 50 so special delivery is needed wiping out all profit.

10% ebay

3.7% paypal

2nd  class signed for £2

Is that 10% I’d you list at a fixed price ?
Can’t remember if it’s less when you list from near 0 as auction

Unless you are a busy essential worker, doing it will yourself will also have the bonus of helping to fill the day.

See this is a massive misconception about this current lockdown.  By no stretch would I be classed an "essential worker" but I am working from home the same hours as I normally would in the office.  I suspect most similar professional jobs, accountants, lawyers etc are.  When I read the media they seem to act like anyone who isn't an NHS worker or Ocado driver is just sitting around at home getting bored.  Not so.

It is quite variable some people will be working normally from home while others will have a much reduced workload because their firms have had to cancel lots of planned work. Even for those working normally you will have the benefit of your saved commuting/socialising time.

Plus 1.5 hours saved commuting time, minus 9 hours extra childcare time.

Really enjoying the lockdown so far. A couple of hours a day saved on a commute, including a bit on the tube, and then there's the expenses that go with it I'm saving. Looks like home working might be one of the considerations I'll give to any roles in the future now. It is a material improvement and quite a valuable one at that.
