"Estate agent tells possible Covid-19 sufferer to leave home so buyers can view it"

Apparently, although I guess that might just stop the eventual eviction rather than viewings etc preceding it. Were I that tenant I'd ensure I had a few coughing fits just within earshot of my new guests...

Haven't renters been given eviction protection? Any renter in this situation should just tell their landlord/letting agent to leave them alone unless they want to get infected.

Well .....

They just need to sit and get an evicition notice.

The UK legal gears will eventually turn the handle on that in ~2021ish.

If the letting agent or landlord has a key, just put a lot of heavy objects in front of the door to stop them entering.

Hell, if in a bit of mood why not boil a kettle and chuck the contents on their head?
