Unless there is 2 different 36 portland Streets in Nottingham, someone has just lost 57k in 5 months for a property they bought on 18/08/2005. Would be interesting to see how the land registry marks this one up.

36 Portland Street

Looking at the latest results (savills) through propertyauctions, the latest selling price is £120,000. They have the address in the Aboretum area.

Lot 10 also faired badly, other terraced houses on that road sold for 160k last year, this one only reached 110k.

They have the same postcode, it's the same street.

Has this auction actually occured yet? Obviously it could go for well over that price but it's curious why they've set the bar so low, maybe it's the only way they can gain initial interest?

According to the results page the house sold for 120,000 on 26/01/2006. But the Savils results page via the Propertauction website does not specify the postcode. And it also states the house is in "The Arboretum" and not "West Bridgford". Do not know Nottingham that well, not sure if the two areas are miles apart. If they are next to each other, then Savils might of just advertised the area incorrectly. I will ring Savils on Monday to clarify.

Apparently there are four different portland road's in Nottingham. I checked out 2, Portland Road Nottingham, there are 4 different results all with different post codes.
