Just a thought...

There are quite a few areas of the UK listed here and from reading

the posts a lot of people are interested in finding out what is going

on in their area. As this site is recommended to more and more

people it may be more useful to arrange an alphabetical list of UK

regions so users can navigate quickly through to a discussion on

their region of interest? What about a clickable map of the UK?

Maybe a choice of switching between classic "recent post first" mode

to "regional mode".

I know I would find it usefull.

I agree, although I don't think you need a clickable map of the UK. I think to begin with seperate discussion areas for Scotland Ireland Wales Midlands, North, South West, South East etc. and people can start their own threads in those broad areas. I think if it is too prescriptive you could miss out on information near you.

I also wish people would make more use of the location section of their profile, sometimes two people are arguing in the main discussion area - one saying prices are clearly dropping near me, another saying I think prices are staying the same / still rising. It would be useful to know whether these two people were both living in Brighton or one was living in South East and the other in Ireland. If people filled out the location bit I think it would save a lot of confusion. A different point I know but it would still help. Of course I mainly want to see if anyone else is in my area, as I can only think of one poster who possibly is.

Anyway, a good idea.
