The stupidity of people on this island sometimes disgusts me. Another nation would not have allowed such a vast distance between rich and poor.

Britain isn't a nation, it's an Empire. And that's where many of its problems come from.

Even before mass immigration, Britain was composed of at least half a dozen nations that were forced to live alongside each other by the Imperial government in London. Even the monarch is German, and married to a Greek.

Real nations care about the people because they're related to each other. Empires don't.
