Surviving the apocalypse - would you bother?

Recommended Posts

I was musing when watching the new Terminator film (not bad, BTW) whether I would bother trying to survive an apocalypse situation.  If there was an easy way out like a nuke inbound I think I would take it rather than fighting to survive all the time and perhaps for a hard future anyway.  What would you do?

I think I'd prefer to take the nuke on the head, all surviving the initial attack of a nuclear war means is a miserable existence until the radiation gets you (if starvation or fighting for the remaining tinned food doesn't first). I suppose there may be one or two remote corners of the world that might just remain inhabitable.
