GLA hunting unlicensed HMOs

As authorities (local and state) get more desperate for income, expect them to go after the low hanging fruit of property owners. HMOs are going to be a very easy target, really difficult to stay under the radar if you are constantly changing tenants.

I think the current craze for Airbnb-ing flats and small houses is going to be another thing that gets hit with the tax hammer.

Plenty of scope for LAs to introduce expensive checks and regulations too.   It's all about public safety don't you know 🤣
