Haha, downloading now. Looks hilarious.

Last film I watched was Shoplifters (Japanese, Oscar best foreign film nominee). Different. Good different.

Saw Shoplifters recently at the cinema. Brilliant and enlightening to see that aspect of Japanese life which is so often hidden away.

Whoooo wheee! That was so worth the wait. What a crazy ride - like Mr. Robot + being John Malkovich + Blindspotting. Trippy, and funny but making a strong comment and stance on modern living, tech progress, and race relations. The story is so creative and out there but they simultaneously , and successfully, bring back the focus to real issues. Actually, pretty masterful. I was looking here https://www5.two-movies.name/watch_movie/Sorry_to_Bother_You if anyone wants to see it...

I Am Mother (2019 - Netflix) 7.5/10

Good performances, interesting premise. I felt they could've made a little more of the story though - it just kind of fizzles out towards the end.

Brightburn
Kept me interested all the way through, however with the way it ended It seemed like there should be some kind of ending that's missing.

Is that one more or less the Superman origin story but he turns out to be evil?
