It’s our image that stinks and the sector has brought it upon itself

We brag in public and we show a face of "pull up the ladder jack I am ok"

I get tired of get rich image we have I am on hols at present and I won’t admit I am a landlord when I am asked what I do for a living

We need to be more humble just like any other business sector.

I doubt it.   It's probably mainly because his story now a bit less rosy.  If you can't tell everyone around the pool about expanding portfolio and all the profits, then it's much easier to keep quiet.

She. And DL has been pretty bearish on BTL for a while now on PT. She speaks a lot of sense! It's just a shame that more of them don't listen!

‘Rich image’?  ******ing delusional mate.

It’s like entering the 1984 Yorkshire regional disco dancing championship because ‘everyone thinks disco dancers are cool’.

"But I feel I’m  a underdog as a LL. No one understands what I really do, no one really appreciate I’m letting people live in one of my properties and not using that money on a nice holiday (the equity in the property). Lol

Wish you all a lovely weekend"

I am sure they feel good about themselves but it will not make a bit of difference

I don't know....the more the public understand that btl and house hoarding is exploitation the better.  I cheer them on...we need more such direct action.

Quite.

Grss is wrong when they say that no-one understands what they do.

Also, if they MEWed the money without paying the CGT and used the "that money on a nice holiday (the equity in the property)" that's fraud, is it not?
