Maudley
Finally got around to putting my place on the market (will I get out before the market topples?). Going travelling with the wife and daughter for two years, hopefully the madness will be over by then. Wish me luck!
EssKay
Good luck! Brave move but I’m sure it’ll result in some lifelong memories/experiences to cherish. Beats slogging away in the U.K.
Wayward
You had the good sense not to 'let out to travel' which is what the majority of people in your position would do...for fear of missing out on more HPI. Its not you that needs wishing luck...its the poor sap selling their future to buy your house. Think of them slaving away and scratching around to make ends meet whilst you enjoy yourself... disenfranchised
Fair play & good luck! How are you planning to do it? Overlanding?
RentingForever
I did this in 2003. Had a fabulous time! Best of luck.
Dreamcasting
What happens if the money you make on your house sale gets massively devalued? No house and no money.
BoredByTorque
Are you planning on returning to the UK? If so I think you're going to need a lot of luck... We sold and completed last month. The market is definitely shakey in London. But having said that, enjoy your travels!
