The House Price Statistics On The Front Page

Recommended Posts

As far as I'm concerned the House Price Statistics tables (both Uk and Greater London) on the front page are a great asset to the site, but may I make a suggestion;

It would be fantastic if there was a row on the bottom of each table showing the average of some columns (not all, it wouldn't make sense when some VI's report in quarters and others each month).. but the average of the "average house price" and "annual change" would be a brilliant addition.

For example in the Uk table, the annual changes are 2.7%, -1.59%, 5.1%, 3.52%, 4.4%, 2.5% and 3.6%.. without working it out.. have a guess what the average is.

It's difficult to glace at and guess because your drawn to the "extreme" figures.

Actually the average of the VI's "annual change" figures for in the Uk is just 2.89%... not much more than inflation :D
