regprentice
Could be a purchase of a % of the property Could be a less than Mkt value sale to a relative/friend (not illegal as long as tax declared properly, A Low sale price may inflate a CGT bill when sold at market value if CGT due) right to buy purchases go through the land registry at the RTB price, according to the land registry all other sales in my street the year i bought my house were for 15-25% the sale price of mine , all RTB purchases of ex-council properties. OverInflated
Is it definitely for the house? I saw one the other day for about £10k, turned out the house had been converted to flats and it was just for the freehold.
