New Chelsea stadium on hold due to "unfavourable investment climate"

UK shooting itself in the foot again?

How many people does Abramovich employ at Chelsea football club (edit - at least 2,458 according to my search)? How many local charities does Chelsea support?

He could lock the gates and dismantle the club tomorrow if he chooses - he owns it 100%.

But as the media tells us, he stole the US Presidential Election! He killed the Skripals! He killed a "Kremlin critic" in the Ukraine just two days ago! He stole the Brexit referendum! The Russians are coming and they must be stopped!!!!!!!!!111ONE

Havent you been listening to your friendly neighbourhood (of Westminster) main stream establishment journalist????

The UK Government's behaviour basically amounts to russophobia/racism unless they are going to start denying visas to the questionable rich from Qatar, Saudi, US, Luxembourg etc etc.

In any event, Israel had no problem granting him citizenship so will doubtless get most of his money from now on.

The UK loses. Again.

Given the Russian position re. Syria you'd have expected Israeli-Russian relations to be a lot more tense than they are. If the Israelis don't regard Putin as a threat when Russian frontline troops are practically at their border, then why should we?

By the way, how many people noticed the media slip out the news that Sergi Skripal has been released from hospital? The information was released a few hours before the royal wedding. Coincidence Im sure and not an attempt to bury bad news. Just like when Russia released the phone call by Yulia Skripal where she stated they are both fine, then a few hours later the report comes through from UK media that they are both fine and are not about to die after all. Its just coincidence!

If they are going to ban him from the UK then just do it. I find it extremely unlikely that they will. They'll be a big climb down in a few weeks so the whole thing is just a waste of time.
